INTRODUCTION
The CONSTELLATIONS comprise two, unique suspended sculptures based on the geometry of specific constellations positioned above Denver’s skies during the Winter Solstice (Pegasus) and Summer Solstice (The Herdsman – Boötes).

DESIGN PROCESS
Each celestial position, calculated by their lightyears from Earth’s position and view, embeds custom glass and LED connections to articulate the presence of the constellation stars defining the internal orbits of each sculpture.
MAKING OF:
Each unique set of curvilinear orbits and their celestial connections were made with state-of-the-art computational bending and machining, completed through a meticulous handmade refinement. Our courageous partners included UrbanFX: achieving new fabrication milestones with Jason Rogers, Kevin Thomas, Rob Gilliom and Andy Baker; while our dedicated installation team, Imagine, led by Eric Stevie, defied gravity to fulfill the vision within each 55’ atrium space. BRAVO!

In this spirit, The CONSTELLATIONS inspire an expansive sense of place, offering a vision that is both specific and universal; celestial beacons centering Denver’s unique position within its’ histories and futures.
